215-219 Oxford Street, W1, is to be redeveloped after planning permission was granted for a new scheme with more than 40,000 sq ft of shops and offices.
The Scottish Widows Unit Funds-owned site comprises three properties, including a 1950s listed building by Ronald Ward, which will be conserved. The scheme will increase space by around 10,000 sq ft.
Retail space will increase from 13,450 sq ft to 20,900 sq ft, with a further 7,000 sq ft still to be allocated to either shops or offices. Notice has been served on tenants Wallis and Knickerbox. JLL is advising Scottish Widows; Dalgleish is letting agent.
