Almost £2m is owed to renters in Scotland as a result of tenants failing to claim deposits when they move out of a property.
Some 6,608 tenants over four years failed to claim their deposits after ending their leases.
The country operates three deposit schemes: MyDeposits Scotland; SafeDeposits Scotland; and Letting Protection Service Scotland.
