A record of 33 homes worth more than £1m were sold each day in the first six months of the year, according to a survey by Lloyds Bank.
A total of 6,143 transactions involving £1m homes took place across the nation, but only 43 of those were in Scotland and just seven were in Wales. Seven out of ten were in London.
