45-storey tower to anchor Old Oak Common plan

Old Oak Rolls Royce Gardens 570

A 45-storey tower that would be the tallest in west London is to anchor Cargiant and London & Regional Properties’ £5bn redevelopment at Old Oak Common, W3.

The residential tower is at the heart of a new masterplan for the 46-acre site, which also features a retained Rolls-Royce factory and a canal basin off the Grand Union Canal.

The masterplan, released ahead of a public consultation which started this week, also includes 6,500 “homes for Londoners”, revised down from earlier proposals for 9,000 and then 7,000 homes, and 1m sq ft of commercial space, including flexible offices.
