Investors moved almost £5bn out of UK investment funds and into safe havens in July, in the wake of the Brexit vote, figures from Morningstar show.
Outflows from property funds totalled £438m.
Since then, however, there have been signs of a stabilisation, with the FTSE 100 index recovering to test 7,000.
