St George North London has won the Royal Fine Art Commission’s Building of the Year Award for Restoration and Conservation for its 6-19 Little Britain project in EC1. The one- and two-bedroom apartments are in a conservation are, close to St Paul’s Cathedral, and overlook Little Britain and Postman’s Park. The commission’s chairman, Lord St John of Fawsley, said the scheme was “a very good example of encouraging people to move back into the City".
