75 high-rise apartment buildings fail fire-safety tests

A total of 75 high-rise apartment buildings in 26 local authority areas, all of those so far tested, have failed fire-safety tests on their cladding.

US company Arconic, which manufactured the Reynobond PE cladding used on the Grenfell Tower, halted sales of the product for use on high-rise buildings citing the inconsistency of building codes across the world.
