Derbyshire-based developer CWC Group and a consortium of partners have been given the green light by Rushcliffe Borough Council for the 3,000-home Fairham Pastures scheme near Nottingham.
One of the largest mixed-use schemes in the Midlands, the 606-acre £750m project sits to the south of Clifton and next to the NET tram terminus, and will help meet the borough’s 13,500 new homes target.
CWC Group land and planning director Robert Hepwood said: “Our priorities are around delivering a scheme that will enhance the region and locality, as well as being of the very highest quality and sustainability. This approval is a key milestone in bringing our exciting plans to fruition and establishing Nottinghamshire’s premier business and residential district.”
The consent includes more than £100m of new infrastructure improvements and a safeguarded route for the NET tram enabling future extension.
