8 Bishopsgate just the job for STEM recruiter

SThree, a global STEM specialist recruitment partner, has signed to take 15,000 sq ft at Mitsubishi Estate London and Stanhope’s 8 Bishopsgate, EC2.

It has agreed a 10-year lease on the 16th floor of the 560,000 sq ft, 50-storey tower.

According to EG Radius Data, rents in the building are around £89 per sq ft.

This latest deal means just over 100,000 sq ft remains vacant in the block, with some 450,000 sq ft of space now leased.

Other tenants in the building include Stanhope, which is moving its HQ from 100 New Oxford Street, WC1, to the tower,  US law firm Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath, Hong Kong investment group CITIC CLSA, and global reinsurance firm SCOR.

SThree chief executive Timo Lehne said: “We look forward to joining the dynamic community at 8 Bishopsgate. Positioning our headquarters at this award-winning tower in the City of London will help in our mission to innovate and grow while attracting and retaining highly capable staff, further solidifying our position at the forefront of the STEM staffing sector.”

Stanhope chief exectuive David Camp said the deal “underscores the building’s reputation as a premier destination for businesses at the forefront of innovation”.

Knight Frank and Newmark BH2 are letting agents on 8 Bishopsgate. Savills advised SThree on the deal.
