Lambert Smith Hampton has appointed Matthew Tilt as director of the firm’s Birmingham office.
Tilt has spent the past two years working in the firm’s industrial and logistics team as associate director, specialising in disposals, acquisitions and asset management. He has more than 10 years’ experience in the industrial and logistics sector, acting for funds, investors, and occupiers.
Adam Ramshaw, head of Birmingham and East Midlands at LSH, said: “Matt has played a key role in the industrial and logistics team since he joined us two years ago. The appointment is testament to his forensic attention to detail and his expertise in this specialist field.”
Earlier this year, the Birmingham industrial and logistics team celebrated transacting 1m sq ft of transactions in just five months. The team has now transacted more than 1.7m sq ft during 2016.
Key deals include the acquisition of a new-build 180,000 sq ft facility at Hams Hall Distribution Park for The Works, and the letting of 102,000 sq ft at Minworth to DHL.
