A number of tests on samples of cladding from high-rise apartments have come back as combustible, prime minister Theresa May told the House of Commons.
A spokesman for the Department for Communities and Local Government said there were 600 buildings with cladding, and that landlords were being asked to check if they had the aluminium composite material panels.
About a hundred tests are being carried out a day.
