With the money totted up and the final figure something to behold, the team at Andrews & Partners estate and lettings agents are now reflecting on a frenzied year of fundraising. Across its 80 branches, staff mucked in for everything from coffee mornings to curry nights, then shifting to static bike rides, 24-hour spin challenges, golf and football tournaments.
Collectively they raised £15,734 for Estate Agency Foundation, which supports homeless charities such as Shelter, St Mungo’s and Broadway.
Nick Wright, Andrews & Partners’ financial director and treasurer of the foundation, said it was “appropriate” that estate agents combat homelessness.
