A quarter of lots guided at £1m+ in Allsop’s next sale

Allsop has released its final commercial auction catalogue of the financial year comprising 136 lots, 32 of which feature a guide price of £1m or more.

Premises are available across the UK in the 24 March sale, ranging from retail and industrial assets to car parks, with a combined guide price of £97m.

George Walker, partner and auctioneer at Allsop, said: “The market has continued to be very buoyant, as both private and institutional investors turn to auctions to find excellent opportunities.

“Our buyers have a wide choice of assets to choose from in March. From the income protection of annual RPI rental increases that will mitigate the effects of rising inflation and a strong range of London lots to 100 retail assets, interest is already building.”

The highest-value lot comprises eight retail warehouse units at Wren Nest Retail Park in Glossop, Derbyshire (lot 25, pictured), which is guided at £3.65m. Tenants include Next, Argos, Pets at Home and Costa.

Other highlights of the sale include:

  • Lot 26 an office investment in Brierley Hill, West Midlands, let to Virgin Media on a lease until 2060 with annual RPI increases and no break options until 2035, guided at £2.5m
  • Lot 40 a leasehold car park investment at Bryanston Square, between Baker Street and Edgware Road in London, comprising 76 parking spaces with 29 vacant, let at £163,747 pa, guided at £2.3m
  • Lot 21 a multi-let industrial estate investment in Hereford, comprising 16 units let to a variety of tenants, guided at £1.85m.
