A sale to write home about

Cannon Hall 570p

The childhood London home of celebrated English author Daphne du Maurier has been put up for sale with a £32m price tag.

Glentree International and Savills have been instructed to sell Grade II listed Cannon Hall in Hampstead, NW3, on behalf of Lloyd Dorfman, chairman of foreign exchange giant Travelex.

Built in 1730, the three-storey, six-bedroom property was bought in 1916 by actor Gerald du Maurier, father of Daphne.
