Almost a third of businesses have cut their office space as a result of bringing in hybrid working models.
The findings, based on a survey of more than 1,000 managers by the Chartered Management Institute, revealed that the vast majority of organisations have adopted a combination of home and office working for their teams.
An average of 44% of staff are now back in the workplace for at least some of the time.
However, managers expect that to plateau due to continued concerns over the spread of Covid, increasing to just 56% by the end of 2021.
