Pharmaceutical retailer AAH has picked Barclays Property Holdings’ Walsgrave Triangle Business Park near Coventry for its new 6,038 sq m (65,000 sq ft) corporate headquarters.
The German GEHE group subsidiary, which has just acquired Lloyds Retail Chemists, has taken two units at Sapphire Court at an undisclosed price. However, BPH is understood to have been asking for a rent in the region of £145 per sq m (£13.50 per sq ft).
AAH will close its offices in Hook, Hampshire, within the next six months and the headquarters in Runcorn will shut down in 18 months. Most of the departments at the company’s building at Atherstone in Warwickshire will close, although the company plans to retain the depots there.
Richard Ellis and D&P Holt are letting agents on the scheme.
