Standard Life Investments, Scotland’s biggest fund manager, has let the 2,081 sq m (22,400 sq ft) Unit 16 of Bankhead Drive, Sighthill Industrial Estate, Edinburgh, to Aardvark Self Storage for 25 years at £62 per sq m (£5.75 per sq ft).
Aardvark Self Storage provides storage facilities for domestic and business users. Its joint managing director, Alister Jack, said: “This will be our second storage centre in Edinburgh when it opens in September, and it builds on the success and experience gained from having over 700 customers in our existing store.”

The letting of this property follows the recent letting of Unit 6 of Bankhead Drive to MFI Properties. Units 1 and 2 are currently under offer.
