Abbey Manor submits plans for 600,000 sq ft Yeovil park

Somerset-based property company, Abbey Manor, has lodged an outline planning application for a 600,000 sq ft business park in Yeovil.

The 40-acre development known as Bunford Park will be located opposite the civic offices of South Somerset council and bordered by the Western Relief Road.

The site was allocated within the Adopted Yeovil Local Plan for employment use in 2006. The masterplan has been designed by Boon Brown Architects.

The scheme will be Yeovil’s first purpose build business park. It is expected to attract the expanding professional services sector and the support industries associated with the Augusta Westland helicopter factory in the town.

Abbey Manor has a £165m development pipeline, including a 12-acre 400 apartment canal-side regeneration in Taunton, a 12-acre car showroom and trade counter scheme in Yeovil called Seafire Park and phase two of the 160-acre Solstice Park business park on the A303 trunk road near Stonehenge.
