Architects have named the refurbished Aberdeen Art Gallery the best building in Scotland.
The 19th century, listed building underwent a radical £35m revamp under the guidance of Hoskins Architects. The work last over a decade, and was two years overdue before the gallery reopened in 2019.
The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland has now named it winner of the 2021 Andrew Doolan Best Building in Scotland Award.
