A £20m office development in the centre of Aberdeen has gained the support of planning chiefs.
Planning boss Dr Margaret Bochel wants councillors to approve the 125,000 sq ft scheme planned by Stewart Milne Group for a car park site in Union Street.
In a report going to the planning committee on Thursday, Dr Bochel said: “The development of this site is key to the economic regeneration of the area.
“It will be a high-quality, prestigious development.
“The amenity of nearby residents will not be unduly affected. There will be minimal impact on the road network.”
The office plan includes parking space for 249 cars. Dr Bochel recommends a condition that this land is not built on at a later date.
