Aberdeen has seen its ranking in the Good Growth for Cities index drop to 10th this year from fifth amid the impact from falling oil prices.
The index ranks 42 cities in the UK on a range of factors including house affordability, income and jobs.
Edinburgh retained third place in the rankings.
