Abrdn weighs approaches for European logistics fund

Abrdn European Logistics Income has received several potential acquisition approaches since launching a strategic review.

The fund launched the review last November. At the time it said its options would include “undertaking some form of consolidation, combination, merger or comparable corporate action”, selling the entire issued share capital of the company under a “formal sale process”, and selling the company’s portfolio.

In a stock market update today, the company said: “While there can be no certainty at this stage that the final terms of any proposal will prove to be sufficiently attractive to merit a board recommendation to the company’s shareholders, the board is encouraged by the progress made to date and the company’s advisers are actively engaging with a select number of parties to satisfy their due diligence requirements.”

The company holds a portfolio of 26 mid-box and urban logistics real estate assets across the Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain and Poland.
