Acadia may sell clinics to address CMA concerns

Acadia Healthcare is likely to offer to sell some clinics in the UK in order to address concerns raised by the Competition and Markets Authority regarding its purchase of Priory Group earlier this year.

The deal could cause a substantial lessening of competition, the regulator said.

A more in-depth investigation will take place unless Acadia moves to address the concerns. The US healthcare company has a week in which to act.
