Global accountancy body The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants has secured space in Glasgow for a new headquarters.
The ACCA will take three floors, totalling 55,750 sq ft, at BAM Properties’ CONNECT110NS development, 110 Queen Street, marking the biggest letting in the city since 2010.
Terms of the deal are undisclosed but the ACCA is believed to have signed a 10-year-lease. Headline rents in Glasgow are currently at £29.50 per sq ft.
The organisation will relocate from its current office in Central Quay in late 2016.
Mark Broderick, development director Scotland, BAM Properties, said: “The ACCA transaction completes the letting of all 144,000 sq ft of office space in the building.”
Existing tenants include professional service organisations, such as Brodies and Deloitte, while Armani was the first retail tenant, opening a flagship store earlier this year fronting onto Ingram Street.
Cushman & Wakefield represented ACCA.
Letting agents on the office space for BAM Properties were Phil Reid Associates and Cushman & Wakefield.
Two retail units on the ground floor now remain for lease, totalling 10,035 sq ft, with Savills and Cushman & Wakefield advising.
