The search for management consultancy Accenture’s new corporate headquarters looks to have ended with the news that it has put in an offer for 37160m2 (400,000 sq ft) at British Land’s Plantation Place, EC3.
It is thought it will be paying around £581 per m2 (£54 per sq ft) for the space. Last September, the company scrapped plans to occupy Lord Hamlyn’s 30,738m2 (330,872 sq ft) Holborn Place, EC1, at £366 per m2 (£34 per sq ft). Jones Lang LaSalle is advising Accenture.
It has been a mixed week for John Ritblat’s British Land, which had been hoping that Deutsche Bank would commit to its 66,000m2 (700,000 sq ft) 201 Bishopsgate scheme, EC2.
