Italian restaurant Acciuga is to open at 62-63 Long Lane, EC1, opposite the site for the new Farringdon Crossrail station.
The restaurant owners have taken the remaining 13 years of the lease for the 1,000 sq ft building from Chabrot, Bistrot des Halles.
The landlord is a joint venture between Guinness Mahon Trust Corporation and Russell Mark Abrahams.
This will be the second Acciuga, the first opened on Kensington High Street last year.
Sally French, a surveyor at Restaurant Property, which advised on the deal, said: “Farringdon is set to become something of a hub in the capital and this can only be a positive for a restaurant with the pedigree and reputation of Accuiga.”
