Acuitus adds autumn sale amid sustained investor demand

Acuitus will offer 30 lots in its live-streamed commercial property auction on 9 July and has announced plans for an additional autumn sale.

Chairman Richard Auterac said: “Even though the overall social and economic situation remains fluid, we have already seen sustained investor demand at our May auction, and we want to ensure that our selling and buying clients have the best opportunities to access the marketplace when they need to.

“For this reason, we shall hold an additional live-streamed auction on 23 September and additionally have available single-lot online auctions for clients who want a bespoke and flexible sales route that is immediate and has comprehensive market reach.

“Subject to government guidance and the wishes of our clients, we are also looking to return to room auctions as soon as is possible and prudent.”

The July catalogue includes a major freehold city centre development opportunity on Castle Street in Salisbury (pictured), which has planning permission for 66 flats (lot 14). The property comprises a 40,236 sq ft office with 40 car parking spaces on a 1.15-acre site and is being sold with vacant possession. It is guided at £3m-£3.1m.
