Addington Capital has bought the former M&S store at the front of its Harvey Centre shopping centre in Harlow, Essex, from the retailer.
Addington intends to refurbish and redevelop the 60,000 sq ft unit into eight modern retail units ranging in size from 1,500 sq ft to 30,000 sq ft. They will be ready for occupation in spring 2016.
Alex Wagstaff, partner at Addington, said: “The former M&S unit at the main entrance to the scheme will enable us to invest in a prominent town centre property and provide further floorspace for quality retailers.”
GCW acted for Addington Capital.
