A €400m portfolio of property in central and eastern Europe owned by family-owned property company Aerium is to be broken up and sold country by country.
The Polish assets are already under offer and the Czech and Slovakian parcels are “in exclusivity”, according to chief executive Franck Ruimy.
Ruimy said Aerium originally expected to sell the entire portfolio to one buyer.
The Czech assets comprise a portfolio of three Tesco hypermarkets and two shopping centres. The Slovakian property is a portfolio of assets largely let to Carrefour.
The deals will take Aerium out of central European retail, Ruimy said.
