AEW Europe has appointed Cyril Hoyaux as head of its debt funds as it prepares to launch a second senior loan fund.
Hoyaux joins from JLL France to head a drive to raise €750m (£547m) for its Senior Loan Fund II, which follows the 2012 €323m SELF fund.
He will then seek to invest in senior loan transactions across France, the UK and Germany. Assets backed will include offices, retail, logistics and residential.
Hoyaux established the debt advisory business at JLL and has also worked for Morgan Stanley.
