AEW has agreed to acquire a logistics development site near Wakefield, Yorkshire, from Caddick Group. The scheme has a gross development value of £50m.
Yorkshire-based Caddick Group’s construction arm will build the 512,000 sq ft scheme, known as Wakefield 515, for AEW, which will sit opposite a previous Caddick development that is now home to TJX Europe, parent company of TK Maxx.
Wakefield 515 will start on site in the first quarter of next year, with completion expected by the end of 2020.
