AEW Europe has bought two distribution warehouses in France for €25m (£22m) on behalf of its Curzon Capital Partners II fund.
The first logistics purchase was a 280,000 sq ft facility on the Zone Parc du Beck in Wattrelos, 10km north of Lille, for €16m (£14.3m).
AEW bought the site from Goodman’s European Logistics Fund.
King Sturge advised AEW in this transaction.
The company said it also bought a 150,000 sq ft distribution warehouse in Lyon for €8.9m (£7.95m) from EM2C, a regional developer.
Rob Reiskin, managing director and head of investments for AEW Europe, said: “This defensive, cash flow-oriented investment will sit nicely within our CCP II fund’s existing portfolio.”
