European real estate investment manager AEW Europe has promoted Rob Wilkinson to chief investment officer.
Wilkinson, who was formerly head of fund management and separate accounts at AEW, will continue to be based at the group’s London office.
AEW chief executive Christian Delaire said: “We are at a crucial point in the evolution of the European real estate investment market as it recovers from the financial and economic crisis, and the CIO has a key responsibility in successfully investing our client’s capital and developing innovative new strategies to match their needs going forward.”
AEW has also appointed Laurent Babelon, Peter Mather and Daniel Harris as co-heads of investment. They will report to Wilkinson.
