Tenants on the list for affordable housing in Luton will be able to move into 80 newly built flats next month, the first to be developed by a hedge fund and an example of the new type of investor being attracted to the sector.
Cheyne Capital is planning a number of similar developments around the country, including at a second location in Luton.
It is targeting returns of 10%-12%.
