Lincolnshire and London-based agent Pygott & Crone has been appointed as sole agent on a major housing development that will bring 3,000 new homes in North Lincolnshire.
Lincolnshire Lakes developer Lucent Group will start work on site later this year to build the £1.3bn housing scheme, situated to the west of Scunthorpe.
Six new villages will be created around a newly constructed £5m lake which will play a central role in the positioning of new bars, cafes, restaurants and the new homes on the 60-acre site.
Lincolnshire has comparatively low property prices and the development will offer a variety of two- to four-bedroom homes, ranging in price from £120,000 to £350,000.
Lincolnshire Lakes is one of the largest development investment opportunities in the country. Forecast to provide a total of 6,000 new homes, the scheme will accelerate regeneration and inward investment opportunities in the area.
Overall, the Lincolnshire Lakes project will provide local infrastructure to support the South Humber Gateway project – a £3bn investment over the next 10 years to create the UK’s largest deep water port.
The Lincolnshire Lakes development is due to be completed in 2037.
