Principals of the 1,100-strong Lambert Smith Hampton and 500-strong US agent Julian J Studley this week met in London along with five European firms to formalise a co-operative venture to be named the Global Property Alliance.
The other five members are: 100-strong Angermann in Germany; 12-strong Lipton in France; 100-strong Jacobus Recourt in Holland; 15-strong Beltico in Belgium; and Forcadell which has150 staff in Spain and Argentina.
The deal, first mooted in June, is part of a series of link-ups that the new alliance hopes to extend to Asia and other parts of Europe.
