Agile future as LSH secures new HQ

Lambert Smith Hampton is leaving its London HQ of nearly two decades for fresh new space in Fitzrovia.

The move from United Kingdom House at 180 Oxford Street to 55 Wells Street, W1, follows a strategic review of the firm’s working practices and is part of a move to a fully agile workplace. The agent has taken an assignment on 10,500 sq ft on two floors on a six-year lease from outsourcing company Williams Lea Tag.

Chief executive Ezra Nahome said: “We have learned a lot about ourselves as individuals, as teams and as a collective entity over the past two years. The key takeaway for us all is that this is a business that has embraced change and which is now purposefully and strategically positioned to deliver a genuinely agile working environment.”

Nahome said the new HQ would be a “dedicated flagship collaborative space” for both staff and clients and would form part of a wider network of 30 offices around the UK, which would be accessible to all staff as part of LSH’s “work anywhere” ethos.

“Our new HQ will showcase best-in-class collaborative space, while our extensive regional network ensures that staff have convenient access to office amenities when required,” said Nahome. “This working model brings us in line with modern consultancy businesses and we are confident that LSH offers one of the most progressive working environments in the sector.”

LSH has been headquartered at United Kingdom House since 2004, occupying some 27,000 sq ft. At Wells Street, the firm joins occupiers including Mayfair Capital, Synova and Kuvari Partners. It moves to the BREEAM Excellent building, originally developed by GPE in 2017, next month.

LSH represented itself; Avison Young and Knight Frank acted for Williams Lea Tag.
