Wyeth Laboratories, a subsidiary of the US pharmaceuticals giant American Home Products, is poised to sign a lease on 4,924 sq m (53,003 sq ft) of office space at Van Wall business park in Maidenhead.
Wyeth Laboratories has agreed to take the space in Building 1 at Van Wall, at a rent that looks likely to be £377 per sq m (£35 per sq ft). The deal is currently in solicitors’ hands.
Van Wall, bought by Moreley Fund Management in January, has failed to prelet most of its space and has remained almost empty since completion this spring.
Agents for the scheme are Jones Lang LaSalle, CB Hillier Parker and Lambert Smith Hampton.
