Airport City shed cleared for takeoff

MAG-Airport-City-THUMB.jpegPlanning permission has been secured for the development of MAG Property’s and Stoford’s 130,000 sq ft logistics facility at Airport City Manchester.

Construction is expected to start within weeks.

The new-build property, known as ALPHA, is designed to meet growing demand for small to medium-sized logistics units.

Once complete in early 2016, the facility will offer units sized from 17,500 to 35,000 sq ft arranged in a single terrace.

MAG divisional property chief executive Lynda Shillaw said: “We are seeing healthy demand for logistics property at Airport City and the ALPHA development is an exciting addition to the range of products available to occupiers.”

It follows the planning application submitted in December by MAG Property and Stoford for the creation of a 260,000 sq ft logistics unit.

Agents on the scheme are CBRE and JLL.
