Akeler Midlands has sold the 11,148 sq m (120,000 sq ft) Sherwood International in Sherwood Park Enterprise Zone, Nottinghamshire, for £6m.
The industrial and distribution scheme, which was bought by two undisclosed investors, is expected to be ready by early 1997. Four buildings will initially be completed to a shell finish so that bespoke requirements can be met. The buildings can be sub-divided into six separate units ranging in size from 929 sq m (10,000 sq ft) to 3,716 sq m (40,000 sq ft).
Joint letting agents are Fisher Hargreaves Proctor and Holley Blake Cooper. The quoting rent for the units is £48.43 per sq m (£4.40 per sq ft).
Sherwood International is being developed on the 54.63ha (135 acre) Sherwood Park Enterprise Zone, which is being promoted by English Partnerships and Kodak. The park, which is being managed by EP, is close to Junction 27 of the M1 and adjacent to the existing Kodak factory. Existing tenants on Sherwood Park include Prologue and Parkland Textiles.
