Capita Real Estate former managing director Alan Dornford has joined London-based developer and asset manager Chelsfield as a director.
Dornford stepped down from his role at Capita Real Estate in July 2016 and was an independent consultant before joining Chelsfield in May.
Chelsfield focuses on investment and development in London, Paris, Hong Kong, Shanghai and other key European and Asian “gateway” cities.
Previous London schemes include Elizabeth House, SE1, where it achieved planning with joint venture partners London & Regional for a 1.4m sq ft scheme before selling the project to HB Reavis for £250m in May.
Dornford was part of the senior management team of NB Real Estate when it was acquired by Capita in 2010 and was appointed MD at the start of 2014.
He has more than 25 years’ property consultancy experience in the UK and internationally in the public, private and third sectors.
