Cardiff-based Alder King has joined Fletcher Morgan as joint agents for the 4,645 sq m (50,000 sq ft) second phase of the 36.4ha (90-acre) Cardiff Gate business park at Junction 30 of the M4 motorway.
The first phase of the development has already attracted major names, including the Halifax, Bank One, Coca Cola and Bass, and commands the highest
rents for out-of-town offices in South Wales, at up to £172 per sq m (£16 per sq ft). The site is owned by a consortium comprising PMH Properties and Sir Robert McAlpine.
“Since the market for high-quality office space is buoyant, there is likely to be strong demand for the new phase of development, bringing new jobs into
the area,” said Stuart Hogg, partner at Alder King.
