Alder King tops Bristol agents league

Alder King has raced to the top of EG’s first Bristol office agent’s league table.

The South West stalwart signed for nearly one-third of all space disposed of in Bristol in the 12 months to the end of June 2013, according to Estates Gazette Office Research.

Its involvement in the 130,000 sq ft deal at 100 Temple Street to Bristol City Council, rocketed it to the top spot. The deal was the largest of the year, four times bigger than the next nearest contender, the 31,000 sq ft letting to Nvidia at Aztec West Business Park.

The deal boosted it head and shoulders above the competition – strip out the Temple Street deal and the agent would have ranked fourth. It secured tenants for 245,000 sq ft of space, more than 50% more than second-placed Jones Lang LaSalle, although the two were neck-and-neck on number of deals penned.
