Aldermore Bank signs up to Reading’s Apex Plaza

Real estate investment manager PRUPIM has signed Aldermore Bank to its Apex Plaza scheme in Reading.

Aldermore Bank has taken an 8,000 sq ft office on the fourth floor at a rent of £27.50 per sq ft on a 10-year lease.

Apex Plaza, which is let to firms such as Barclays, Ernst & Young, HSBC, and Osborne Clarke, has recently completed a multi-million pound refurbishment.

Aaron Pope, PRUPIM’s asset manager, said: “This is a great boost for Reading town centre which adds another high calibre occupier to our growing financial hub – Apex Plaza.

“The office development boasts top names in the business world, a prime location and great connections to central London.”

Campbell Gordon and Maple Burton represented PRUPIM; Aldermore Bank was represented by Doherty Baines.
