A joint venture between London & Lisbon and Linden Homes has received the green-light for a £60m regeneration scheme in Aldershot, Hampshire.
Westgate, a mixed-use development on the western edge of Aldershot town centre, was given outline planning approval by Rushmoor Borough Council.
The scheme’s residential component, to be delivered by Linden Homes, includes over 400 houses on the seven-acre brownfield site.
The 190,000 sq ft leisure element comprises 110,000 sq ft for a seven screen cinema, a bingo hall and gym, a 40,000 sq ft hotel, and 40,000 sq ft of bars and restaurants.
London-based ttsp are architects for the scheme.
