Aldi is to submit plans for a major distribution centre at Sawley Crossroads, Leicestershire.
The 600,000 sq ft shed would serve its Midlands stores.
A two-phase planning application is expected to be submitted in the new year, in conjunction with site owners Wilson Bowden.
