Alistair Elliott appointed to Grosvenor board

Alistair Elliott will move to Grosvenor when he leaves Knight Frank.

The Knight Frank senior partner will hand over the reins to William Beardmore-Gray in April next year, and will join the landlord and developer as a non-executive director at the same time.

James Raynor, chief executive of Grosvenor Britain & Ireland, said: “His insights and leadership will be invaluable in supporting the growth expectations we have of the business. The sector is going through enormous change and his experience will be incredibly helpful in this new environment as we combine our long-term perspective with real agility and a desire to lead the industry on sustainability.”

Elliott said: “Throughout my professional career, I have always had a strong working relationship with Grosvenor, a business I admire and whose culture and values I respect. It’s a fascinating portfolio full of opportunity with huge scope to lead our sector on the ESG agenda and demonstrate how to curate and manage places. I’m excited to take up this challenge on my retirement from Knight Frank next spring.”

Alongside his role at Knight Frank, Elliott is a member of the Prince’s Council and chairman of the Commercial Property and Development Committee for the Duchy of Cornwall. He also acts as a LandAid trustee and a member of the BPF policy committee.
