All Star Lanes in the frame at Stratford

All Star Lanes plans to open a 14-lane bowling alley, restaurant and cocktail bar at Westfield’s £1.45bn mixed-use development Stratford City in east London.

The venue, All Star Lanes Westfield Stratford City will be the operator’s fourth in London and the newest following the most recent opening of All Star Lanes Brick Lane in 2008.

All Star Lanes will complete the leisure offer at Westfield Stratford City, which has already confirmed the UK’s largest casino, to be operated by Aspers, and three hotels: Premier Inn, Holiday Inn and Staybridge Suites. The centre also comprises a 17-screen Vue cinema and over 70 food and beverage offers.

Mark von Westenholz, founder and chief executive of All Star Lanes, said: “From a wider perspective, we view this as an opportunity to launch our brand to a new audience and expect this to be a springboard for future expansion.”

Bill Giouroukos, director of operations at Westfield, said: “They are a forward-thinking, innovative, boutique operation and we are delighted that they are opening with us at Stratford, where we are delivering the next chapter in entertainment, leisure and lifestyle. And the countdown is now on with our opening in just under four months from now.”
