Allan to join Landsec early as Covid-19 scuppers personal plans

Incoming Landsec chief executive Mark Allan is to take up his role two weeks earlier than planned.

Allan is able to take up the role from 14 April instead of 1 May after Covid-19 disrupted his personal plans for his break between leaving St Modwen and joining Landsec. Allan will now leave St Modwen on 13 April instead of 30 April.

Rob Noel steps down as chief executive of Landsec at the end of this month but will remain available to the company until 10 July. Chief financial officer Martin Greenslade will be acting chief executive until Allan joins on 14 April.

At St Modwen, chief finance and operations officer Rob Hudson will take over as interim chief executive from 14 April. A search for a new chief executive has already begun.
