Allders is negotiating to buy between eight and ten Owen Owen department stores from Xceptions chairman and former Amber Day boss Philip Green. It is paying more than £20m for the shops in locations including Leeds, Coventry, Oxford, Ipswich and Slough. The deal should be completed later this month.
